Description
The Civil Designer I is an entry level position that will focus on learning the fundamentals of civil design as well as SW design, computer, and general office standards. This role contributes and supports the engineering team in master planning, engineering design, and research for specific tasks on projects. The Civil Designer I is expected to learn necessary drafting, design, and research skills to assist the engineers and project managers in the analysis of proposed and current projects. This position is encouraged to ask many questions and seek mentorship to better understand and analyze plan presentation, reliability, engineering design, project scopes and delivery timelines.

Education:
Bachelor’s or associate’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited college/university preferred
Experience:
Minimum 2 years CAD Tech experience, previous Civil Engineering internship experience with a Civil Engineering design firm, and/or AutoCAD certification required
